Thermo-Master INSULATION Cover 12mm up to - 212 cm X 212 cm

These Thermo-Master covers are made of 2 x 6mm layers of light blue irradiation cross-linked polyethylene foam with an ultra strong polyester scrim between the layers and polyethylene film over both outer surfaces. Made to ISO 2581 providing 0.039 W/mk Thermal Conductivity at 40C.

APPLICATION

In outdoor hot tubs, spas & swim-spas these covers can be used in ADDITION to a rigid cover. They will of course serve the same purpose as an 'Energy Guard Cover' in preventing the waste of energy by evaporation & subsequent condensation on the underside of the rigid cover and prolonging the life of the same. They will also provide a significant additional thermal retention benefit, reducing running costs even further.

For indoor (fully enclosed) installations, or SOUTHERN EUROPEAN outdoor locations (in summer months), they may well be sufficient as the main insulating cover instead of a rigid cover - although this will very much depend on the 'building' they are used in, or the time of year etc.

Remember this is a floating cover so measure your water line at its maximum length & width to establish the size you need. Easily trimmed to fit. Some sizes will have a visible 'welded' join due to limitations of roll width.

NOTE: These covers are NOT in any way intended to prevent the access of children and animals into a spa, hot tub etc. They will not prevent rainwater, etc. from entering the tub. A rigid cover with locks would still be required in such a situation.
