Description
Many cover lifters work by lifting and suspending the spa cover by its centre hinge hanging over a metal bar. A majority of insulating covers are not designed to have their entire weight supported by the hinge and many spa cover warranties can have an exclusion regarding any damage caused by cover lifters.
As spa covers eventually begin to absorb water their weight increases creating further strain on the hinge. The Cover Saver considerably reduces the stress on the covers hinge yet still fully supports the weight of the cover on the lifter.
